Safe and Secure

Stay up to date with the most commonly used software

The most common security threats are the holes that exist in our day to day software. Software like Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader, Java and more. We need these technologies to take part in all of the rich media that the internet offers us.

Like any software, there will be holes. The bad guys know this too. As they find exploits in commonly used software, they write their virus to take advantage of those holes. All you have to do is make sure you are patching your most commonly used software as frequently as you can. You know, “software updates”.

That can be a little tricky and cumbersome. Thanks to sites like Ninite.com this can be quick and easy. Ninite allows you to choose all of the software you want to install, and then it generates a single file for you to run that installs everything. If the programs you chose are not installed, it will install them. If they are out of date it will update them. It’s that easy!
